Here's just a small sampling of community projects we've worked on over the years.

Water Treatment Plant

In an attempt to finally provide clean, safe drinking water to the community, the SRFNEDC has teamed up with Tribury Group in the construction of a state-of-the-art facility that has created jobs for over 20 people from within the community.

BC Highway

In order to better serve the community, the SRFNEDC has teamed up with Spanish Township in the revitalization of, what is being called, the BC (back of Cutler) Highway. This project will ensure the back road between Cutler and Spanish will stay maintained and in good driving condition for all who utilize the "scenic route" between Cutler and Spanish.

Pan-am Torch Relay Celebration

In cooperation with the Community Wellness unit, the SRFNEDC hosted a celebration to honour the PanAm Torch and its two local bearers, Orval Commanda and Zane Johnston. Over 100 people showed up from the community and surrounding area to cheer on the bearers. A free community BBQ was a big hit, along with prayer, entertainment, cake, and various photo opportunities with the bearers all capped off with a community round dance!

A big shout-out to the organizers, Nadine Labelle and Miles Reid for preparing such a great day to bring the community together as one!
